"It's All About the Green" Blog Hop

Welcome Back,  The weather here in Las Vegas has been awesome.  I am going to the annual Quilt show and going to admire other folks beautiful artwork.  I feel great and am enjoying a weekend of my favorite things family and crafting.  I hope that you are enjoying a similar weekend. 

I just love these they are so simple I am thinking that I would like to do this with vellum and use this in a window or with lighting from behind.  These came from the From the Nest cartridge done on the Cricut Expression.

This was done on the Cricut Imagine with the Imagine More Cards.  I used dots to add dimension and I used some silk flowers and sparkle brads.  I am hoping this will bring me bunches of luck.

Spring is almost here and I am loving it.  I was very sick this past week and just barely got my posts done but I hope that you like my projects.  I have done something on the Cricut Expression with the help of the Gypsy.  I have done another project using the Cricut Imagine.  In the past I have just done things with my Imagine but thought I would make sure that I had something for everyone.

this is done with the From the Nest Cartridge and a Martha Stewart treat bag She has a little green wing.


This one was created on the Cricut Imagine using the Laura Garden. I used a rhinestone gem from some broken jewelry for the center on the this flower.

Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone had a great holiday.  We had a house full of family and friends and had a wonderful Christmas.  Lots of cooking family traditional meals and making great cookies and breads.  I had to tune out from my Cricut projects while we were busy with family I am back now.  I have made some really cute Valentine cards using my Cricut Imagine.

The First one is a beautiful flower and hummingbird from Lauries  Garden cartridge.

The Next Card is a cutie it is from Best Friends Cartridge with some Martha Stewart embelishments of felt that I picked up at Michaels on sale after Christmas that I thought were perfect for Valentines Day embelishments I used baby pink rick rack for the balloon strings.

For the Last card I used Laurie's Garden cartridge again and used this butterfly I did layers to achieve the dimensional appearance I also used some die cuts that I had around that I am not sure where they came from a kit that I got on HSN a while ago.

I have made some small gift bags that can be used for small sweet or precious treats or perhaps a gift card. 

I used the Best Friends cartridge, and the Snow Angel cartridge the gift bag is made from the Best Friends cartridge.  I used stickles and gems to sparkle up each bag.  These were so fun to do using my Cricut Imagine.

Imagine gift card and bag

This one is really cute.  It is a card and a gift bag together.  I used the Best Friends cartridge I created the girl and the bag separately.  I made the flower by printing it in different sizes and stacking with pop dots. I used 2 buttons on the flower. The bag I colored with a different pattern than shown on the cart.  On the girl I added a small dowel to give her stability.  I added 2 flowers and a brad to her hair.  The sentiment is from Beyond Birthdays cart.  I put chocolates in the bag and tied with a ribbon.  I think she turned out sweet. 

JT Cartridge card

This was fun I used all the elements from the JT imagine cartridge using white card stock and black card stock for the shadow.  I did use the layer feature to create the 3 d elements and used pop dots.  The Happy Birthday sentiment was from Birthday Cake cartridge and I flood filled with pattern design from JT cartridge I use an orange jewel element for the eye of the dragon.  This was fun.
